What to expect
Prairie dog hunts are simple and fun. Most days involve setting up near active towns, getting comfortable, and shooting throughout the day. You can expect a lot of action and plenty of time to dial in your rifle.

Good Ground and Room to Hunt
We run these hunts on private land with access to active prairie dog areas. We keep groups small and make sure everyone has space to shoot comfortably.
It’s an easy hunt, but having the right setup makes it even better.

Optional Fishing Add-On
Fishing on the Big Horn River can be added on during your trip:

Hunters should arrive prepared for changing Montana conditions. We recommend:

Guided Hunting Trips
All RSO Outfitters hunting trips are active and fast-paced. This isn’t a sit-and-wait hunt.
All guided Montana hunts include lodging, meals, and professional guides who handle logistics so you can focus on the hunt. Extra hunting days may be added based on daily rates. The closest airport is Billings Logan International Airport (Billings, MT).
Hunt prices do not include hunting licenses, meat processing, motel lodging before or after the hunt, gratuities, or taxidermy.
