Frequently Asked Questions – Guided Montana Hunting

All big game hunts include professional guiding, lodging during the hunt, meals, and in-hunt transportation. Our goal is to handle logistics so you can focus on the Montana hunting experience.

Most hunts range from 2–6 days, depending on species and season. Additional hunting days may be added based on availability and daily rates.

Our guided Montana hunts take place in Southeast Montana, roughly an hour drive from Billings. Specific locations vary by species, season, and conditions.

No. Clients are responsible for purchasing their own Montana hunting licenses and tags.

Hunt pricing does not include licenses, meat processing, lodging before or after the hunt, gratuities, taxidermy, or personal gear.

A 50% deposit is required within 15 days of invoicing to hold hunt dates. Deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement hunter is booked prior to license deadlines. Cancellations after license deadlines are handled case-by-case.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated. Industry standard is 15–30% of the hunt price.

No outfitter can guarantee harvest. We guarantee professional guiding, ethical hunting practices, and maximum effort.

Physical demands vary by hunt. Some hunts require hiking uneven terrain, while others are less strenuous. We’re happy to discuss expectations before booking.
