  • Cow elk shoulder season hunts are shorter, more flexible, and often easier to schedule with over-the-counter options.

What to Expect

These guided Montana elk hunts typically run 5 days and require physical effort, patience, and adaptability. Expect long glassing sessions, hiking through rugged terrain, and close coordination with your guide.

All elk hunts include lodging, meals, and professional guiding. Extra days may be added based on daily rates and availability. The closest airport is Billings Logan International Airport.

Hunt pricing does not include licenses, meat processing, lodging before or after the hunt, gratuities, or taxidermy.

Because elk hunts are physically demanding, proper gear is essential:
